Loren’s journey in the industry began at a young age. At just 16 years old, he started working on deck construction crews, learning the trade firsthand and developing a deep appreciation for outdoor living design and construction. His hands-on experience, dedication to quality, and commitment to customer satisfaction eventually led him to establish his own business and build a reputation for excellence throughout Texas.
Building a business from the ground up takes hard work, dedication, and a commitment to serving customers well. In the early years, Loren handled nearly every aspect of the business himself, from helping customers select materials and plan projects to managing day-to-day operations. Through long hours and a focus on quality, the company steadily grew and earned the trust of homeowners, contractors, and builders throughout the region.
As demand increased, Loren expanded the business and continued investing in the people, products, and resources needed to better serve customers. Today, Loren’s Lumber is proud to be a trusted source for premium decking, cedar, screen room systems, LuxCraft outdoor furniture, and other outdoor living products. Faith, family, and integrity continue to be the foundation of Loren’s Lumber. Loren is a follower of Christ and attends East River Baptist Church in New Caney, Texas. His faith has guided the company’s growth and continues to shape the values by which we operate today.
When he’s not helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces, Loren enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of the outdoors. Those same experiences inspire his passion for helping others build places where memories can be made for years to come.
